Modern Apprenticeships (MAs) are nationally recognised qualifications, which offer an excellent way of mastering practical skills in the workplace. They give people the opportunity to train as they work and earn money.
To undertake the MA in Housing, you must currently work for a housing organisation and be aged 16 years or over. The programme takes around 12 months to complete and includes the SVQ Level 2 in Housing qualification.
It’s a great way to earn while you’re training and gain practical, job-specific skills.
Everyone needs water, food and a home, so my main career motivation has always been about working to keep housing as high as possible on the political agenda.
